Product Description

The PAR4CH-PC104-ADAPTER-THICK is one of several accessory boards for use in building a custom PAR4CH/PC104 stack. With its two sets of mounting holes, this sturdy 1/8" thick adapter board makes it easy to connect a PC104 CPU card to the PAR4CH. The outer set aligns with the PAR4CH, while the inner aligns with the industry standard PC104 spec. Mounting hardware for both the PAR4CH and the PC104 holes is included.

The PAR4CH-PC104-ADAPTER-THICK and the PAR4CH-PC104-ADAPTER both have the same mounting hole configuration and large ground planes for electrical noise suppression. The former is thicker and the latter has additional headers for reducing ribbon cable twists if a compatible PC104 CPU card is used.

Either adapter can be substituted at no charge for the standard desktop enclosure included when purchasing a PAR4CH, just specify which you prefer. Adapter boards may also be ordered separately.

The PAR4CH-PC104-ADAPTER is one of several accessory boards for use in building a custom PAR4CH/PC104 stack. With its two sets of mounting holes, the adapter board makes it easy to connect a PC104 CPU card to the PAR4CH. The outer set aligns with the PAR4CH, while the inner aligns with the industry standard PC104 spec. Mounting hardware for both the PAR4CH and the PC104 holes is included.

In addition, the adapter has some optional headers that allow ribbon cable connections to the PAR4CH without twists if a compatible PC104 CPU card is used. Plus it has large ground planes for electrical noise suppression. The related PAR4CH-PC104-THICK is thicker, but does not allow for any optional headers.

Either adapter can be substituted at no charge for the standard desktop enclosure included when purchasing a PAR4CH, just specify which you prefer. Adapter boards may also be ordered separately.

Product Description

The PAR4CH-PC104-DISK is one of several accessory boards for use in building a custom PAR4CH/PC104 stack. With its ribbon cable headers and two sets of mounting holes, the disk mount board makes it easy to add a standard 2.5" hard disk into a PAR4CH/PC104 equipment stack.

One set of mounting holes aligns with the PAR4CH and the other mounts a standard 2.5" hard disk. Both 44 pin 2mm and 40 pin .1" ribbon cable headers are provided to allow easy connections with various PC104 CPU cards. An additional connector is included for bringing power to the hard disk when using .1" cables. Plus, the PAR4CH-PC104-DISK has large ground planes for good electrical noise suppression.

Also included on the board is a pair of connected 26 pin ribbon cable headers. One has the 2mm spacing often found on PC104 CPU cards and the other has the standard .1" spacing typically found on floppy drives, providing a handy conversion between the two if needed.

The PAR4CH-PC104-POWER is one of several accessory boards for use in building a custom PAR4CH/PC104 stack. With its rows of standard 6/32 screw type terminal blocks, the power distribution panel makes it easy to connect power to other boards in a PAR4CH/PC104 equipment stack.

The power panel has mounting holes that align with the PAR4CH and five rows of capacitor buffered terminal blocks that provide power rails at +5V, +12V, -12V, ground, and floating. Plus, the PAR4CH-PC104-POWER has large ground planes for good electrical noise suppression.
