DVM - SER1CH-UA Digital Volt Meter Program
Click for larger DVM program image

The SER1CH-UA system software works for all the members of the SER1CH-UA low power 24 bit serial port family. These include the SER1CH-UA-BANA, SER1CH-UA-DSUB, SER1CH-UA-1in.

This software includes both DVM and CAL. DVM stands for Digital Volt Meter and is a data acquisition program displaying data as numbers similar to a Fluke Meter and saving the acquired data to disk files. CAL is a companion program for calibrating the SER1CH-UA into convenient units such as inches or degrees that are appropriate for your sensor.

The screen image shows DVM displaying data acquired by the SER1CH-UA when its input is connected to its reference voltage. The single channel of data is displayed in two formats. The first display shows the measured voltage, while the second shows the data calibrated in units more directly related to the sensor being used. In this case, the sensor is a rheostat or 10-turn pot, so the display is calibrated in turns.

The PARxCH system software works for all the members of the PARxCH 24 bit parallel port A/D family. Now you can change between the PAR1CH, PAR4CH, and PAR8CH without needing to reinstall a driver.

In addition to the usual data acquisition programs like scope and simp, this software also includes VIEW, a Windows GUI program for playback and review of existing .out and .dat data files generated by the provided acquisition programs.

The screen image shows VIEW displaying a .dat file recorded by the 8 channel PAR8CH. In addition to the 8 channels of analog data, the display also shows 4 channels of digital data and 1 channel with the GPS pulse-per-second mark.

See the PARxCH software page for more details or get your own copy from the PARxCH section of our download page.
